Golden Hour

With the ever changing weather patters in the San Francisco bay area I had to seize the opportunity to capture the Golden Gate Bridge. I spent the better part of the afternoon checking all vantage points along the hillside. I wanted to show as much detail across the entire frame. Typically called the blue hour, this is the period of twilight during dusk when the sun is well below the horizon and the residual light takes on a predominantly blue hue. With that and the city lights casting more colors this photo was well worth the wait.
